My Papa is one of the most stubborn people i ever met, but there is no one i respected more. This is the man who always encouraged me to do what i wanted by doing the work required to get there. He taught me that while some may give you handouts, you can't depend on them, and you certainly don't want others to hold it over you. He taught me what it means to be a conservative, and to think on my own. He even taught me to swim... before i was walking ;-p. He taught me to stand by my beliefs no matter what others say (which has helped me a lot, because i'm around a lot of people who disagree with me, and it would be easy to agree with them.) I love the fact that he was around to be at my wedding a couple of years ago, and I love the fact that he was doing well enough to travel 5 hours to get there. I love that a couple of months ago he stopped wrestling with God and made peace with him, and that he was getting involved in his church. I love even more that he is now no longer hurting, and he is no longer having trouble breathing. And most of all I love that I will see him again some day, and until that day comes I will remember what he has taught me.
Good by Papa, I love you.

May he rest in peace, and may we never forget him.

Just keep the bass playing, while the notes are dancing, even the boss is craving.
